It's somewhat functional. The goal here is just swing as many times as you can, Scarlet takes out blockers when she doesn't die to One-Eye, also good target for Contract. I always play Laurite and Faerur's spell, Ki'Lua chant is there for additions that hurt the deck like Wall or Age if Death.
