If The Damascus Moon gains an attribute (e.g. from Painter Gears) then it will continue to remove abilities from all other additions that have one or more printed attribute. When applying continuous effects, those that add or remove abilities gets applied before those which add or remove attributes, so The Damascus Moon has no attribute when the ability removal is applied.
